WHO’S THE DADDY 你要熱烈地親親爹哋,2017

The title and Inspiration of the work come from a well-known children's song. Although it has positive images and funny characters, the apparent dark meaning comes out. Ping Wong uses animation to create a virtual world exploring family suffering. With his representative neon color and straightforward style, he tells the story of an unscrupulous man inadvertently becoming a father and raising children. The discussion and unnecessary confirmation of political identity and religious belief implemented the whole film. The cowardly and incompetent protagonist is blindly obsessed with his surging desire to conquer selected objects with strict religious beliefs. The work aims to imply the identity, position, and psychology of the perpetrators and victims of domestic violence in the context of traditional religion, which is also the suffering of thousands of families and female groups today.
